This Home Renovation Workshop is a FREE public fundraising event with info. on what to expect when renovating during and after the pandemic.

This 2021 Home Renovation Workshop is a FREE public event that will focus on what to expect when renovating during and after the pandemic and will highlight the building of Tiny Homes in Kitchener. The Kiwanis Club welcomes the public to spend an evening with a local Architect, a City of Kitchener Planner and a local General Contractor:<ul><li>Architect, Andre Arseneault, will reveal the final design of his 7 bedroom, 5 bathroom Uptown Waterloo Multi-generational Family Home and use his home renovation as an example of what residents can expect when renovating their home post-pandemic</li></ul><ul><li>Richard Kelly-Ruetz, City of Kitchener planner, will address questions about building Tiny Homes and highlight the winners of the latest City of Kitchener Backyard Homes Design Competition</li></ul><ul><li>Art Janzen of Menno S. Martin Contractor Ltd., will answer questions on what to expect for a post pandemic renovation budget and timeline</li></ul>This sponsored fundraiser celebrates 100 years of Kiwanis in Kitchener-Waterloo and will raise money for the K-W Urban Native Wigwam Project - a not-for-profit Indigenous affordable housing organization in Kitchener and Kiwanis affordable housing units for families and seniors.
