ACPRO Workshop with Shannon Beauchamp: Cultural Safety and Humility – It Starts With Me

However, if some registrants’ plans change and they cancel, space will automatically open; you might want to try periodically to see if a space has become available.The Association of Canadian Psychology Regulatory Organizations is pleased to offer the virtual session: “Cultural Safety and Humility – It Starts With Me”. This important session will be led by facilitator Shannon Beauchamp (Migizi Miigwan Equae), who will introduce key concepts regarding Cultural Safety, including cultural awareness, cultural sensitivity, cultural competency, cultural humility, relational practice, trauma and intergenerational trauma, trauma stewardship, and accountability, and the acknowledgment that Change starts with me. The workshop will be presented in English, with simultaneous interpretation in French; please be advised that the slides will not be translated.
