On one side, Schubert’s beloved “Trout” Quintet, a sparkling masterpiece filled with freshness, lyricism, and youthful energy. On the other hand, Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Quintet in C minor, a deeply expressive score that blends lyrical intensity with the colours of post-Romantic England.Through this unique encounter between Schubert and Vaughan Williams, Sakka Music continues its commitment to restoring overlooked voices and revealing the extraordinary richness of the musical heritage.
