Building champions in and through theatreCentre Stage Theatre Schoolwas founded by long-time drama and music educator Helen Zdriluk. The school is based on its founder’s belief that quality theatre programs produce champions both on and off the stage, that strong theatre programs are able to seamlessly integrate all the arts, that theatre skills mirror life skills, and that we all learn best when we’re engaged and having fun!Centre Stage offers a wide range of drama, music theatre, vocal music, and on-camera classes, in order to provide quality programs for a wide range of students, interests and circumstances. Classes based on age group and performance discipline allow us to focus on individual and specific development for everyone from enthusiastic beginners to serious seasoned performers. Extensive and varied performance experiences, opportunities for competition at festivals and for speech exams for those who wish it, our student-centred choice of material, and opportunities for volunteering, technical and production work, allow for student choice and ensure an individualized and unique experience for all students. Centre Stage also offers private singing and acting classes, as well as specialty workshops in a variety of areas.

ELEMENTARY MUSIC THEATRE PRODUCTION - GRADES 1-2Wednesdays 6:15-7:15 p.m. - September 10, 2025 - May 27, 2026$82.50 + HST per monthPerform at the CENTRE STAGE Studio Theatre in our ELEMENTARY MUSIC THEATRE MAINSTAGE PRODUCTION in spring 2026!Classes in elementary musical theatre include movement, choral work, character work, and improvisation. Goals are to nurture each student’s imagination, develop theatre skills, boost self-esteem and enable students to perform with their peers in a safe and supportive environment. Self-expression, confidence, sharing, teamwork and communication will be developed through building theatre structures and skills.The musical to be performed for our spring show will be selected in September.At Centre Stage Theatre School we understand that not everyone wants to pay upfront for the entire season. To that end, our program is divided into 9 equal monthly payments. You will be asked to pay for the first month on registration, and then e-transfer us the monthly fee at the beginning of each subsequent month (October 2025-May 2026). Alternatively, if you'd prefer, you can bring in post dated cheques dated for the beginning of each month (October 2025-May 2026).
