Healthy Boundaries Month! - Family Support - Lunch and Learn
Overview
Family Support for Emotionally Sensitive Loved Ones - Lunch and Learn 4 session themed monthly program
Description:
Caring for a loved one with emotional sensitivities or Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) can be overwhelming. This 4-session weekly program is part of a series with a different theme each month, designed to equip families with practical communication tools and emotional coping strategies, using principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Over the course of the series, participants will learn about coping with the challenges of living with someone with BPD, managing your own emotions when a loved one struggles, communication skills for reducing conflict in families and much much more.
During the month of January we will focus on healthy boundary-setting in family relationships. Participants will learn how to set limits respectfully, reduce resentment, and maintain connection.
Program Highlights:
- Learn how to communicate effectively with a loved one experiencing emotion dysregulation.
