Join us as for the unveiling of Rush Hour, a new mural by Ehiko Odeh at Spadina Station.

Celebrate the debut of this powerful new work as Ehiko shares the inspiration behind the mural, her creative process, and the deeper significance of the piece.Following the mural viewing, we’ll continue the celebration with drinks nearby — a relaxed opportunity to connect, reflect, and enjoy time together in community. About the MuralRush Hour is a mural in conversation with time, movement, and memory, creating a dialogue between past and present. Referencing an image from the Toronto Star archives, the photograph highlights the ways in which processes of transition inform and reshape lived experiences across generations. About the ArtistEhiko Odeh is a multidisciplinary artist from Lagos, Nigeria, her process is rooted in material transformation to evoke a sense of haze, ambiguity, bridging the organic with the archival as a mode of adaptation. Her work engages family history, food security, and coiffure as reflections of economic change, while investigating globalization, ecology, herbology, and the poetics of space.
