'Before We Forget" a UWC Film Screening

The UWC National Committee of Canada (NCC) is a volunteer-powered organization responsible for the recruitment and selection of Canadian students wanting to attend UWC! We also are growing our alumni engagement work by running events for all UWC alumni living in Canada. Stay tuned for more events through the year!

'Before We Forget" A UWC Film Screening

UWC Canada will be hosting film screenings of Before We Forget / Duino – an award-winning film inspired by UWC life – in Calgary, Ottawa, and Toronto on the weekend of Oct. 17/18th!

🎬 Before We Forget / Duino – an award-winning film inspired by UWC life – will be shared with the public, with UWC alumni, community members and friends, with local educators, prospective students and families, and more! Everyone is invited to share in the viewing of this spectacularly magical film. Directed by Juan Pablo Di Pace (UWC Adriatic 1997–1999) and Oscar nominee Andrés Pepe Estrada, this moving tribute to friendship, memory, self-discovery and the UWC spirit has won 14 international awards. Quite a few students of ours had the chance to be engaged in the filming process and the promotions of the film while they attended UWC Adriatic in 2022-2025! (You may even spot a few in some scenes!) If time, we will also host a brief discussion after the film, to share in our reflections and engage as a community. It will be a great opportunity to connect, and learn more about UWC, and the community in your region!
