Where do we meet?

We meet just outside the Welcome Centre at Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary in Victoria, BC, where we take a moment to connect and ground ourselves before beginning our walk together.

I’m not very fit. Will I be able to keep up?

Yes. These walks are slow-paced, gentle, and designed for reflection, not for fitness or speed. We take breaks if needed, and the focus is on connection and comfort, not distance.

Do I need to register ahead of time?

Registration helps me prepare for the group, but if you decide to join last-minute, you are still welcome

What should I bring or wear?

Please dress comfortably for the weather and wear shoes suitable for walking. You may also wish to bring water, a light jacket, or a small item of remembrance (like a photo, stone, or flower).

Is there a cost to attend?

Yes, it’s completely free. These walks are offered as a gentle space for reflection, healing, and connection in nature.

What happens if it rains?

We will still gather for a gentle walk if the weather is mild. If conditions are unsafe, I will notify participants of a reschedule or indoor alternative.

Can I bring a friend or family member for support?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sometimes walking alongside someone familiar makes the experience easier. All companions are welcome as long as they respect the space.

Do I need to share my story?

Accepted Answer

No. Sharing is optional. Some people find comfort in speaking, others in listening, and others in silence. However you choose to participate is completely welcome.
