Confidently address body image concerns in athletes to improve eating disorder treatment and promote sustainable performance.

<h3>Overview</h3>This 3-hour training is designed for health professionals who work with athletes and wish to strengthen their ability to address body image concerns—an issue that often lies at the heart of eating disorders and disordered eating in sport.In athletic environments, body image pressures can be intensified by performance expectations, body composition monitoring, and sport culture. These factors can increase anxiety, ambivalence, or resistance during treatment.As dietitians, psychologists, physicians, and other health professionals, we are not always equipped to navigate this complex dynamic between body image, identity, and performance.
