Nelles Manor is a historical gem in the heart of Grimsby, and a valuable piece of Canadian heritage.A family home for over two centuries, the Manorhas been often viewed from afar. In 2016, owners Barry and Linda Coutts generously donated their home to a charitable, non-profit corporation created by the family.The Manor, now run by volunteers, exists as a Museum and Heritage House, open for tourists to come and have a look inside!The Nelles name is familiar to those who live in Grimsby, as they were one of the founding families to settle in this part of Upper Canada during the late 18th century.Colonel Robert Nelles built this gorgeous Georgian-style home and resided here with his large family until his death in 1842. The house has passed through 4 successive generations of Nelles descendants, and remains standing today as a testament to Robert's wisdom and perseverance through an ambitious colonial beginning.The rest of the story is told by the house itself... you'll have to come visit in person and see what it has to offer.We offer educational tours, special events, and facility rentals for any occasion.

You are invited to tour the 233-year-old Nelles Manor Museum. Explore the dark, candlelit rooms, and hear true paranormal tales from the Manor. You might not believe in ghosts, but within the walls of Nelles Manor, you may never be truly alone.COVID protocols. Proof of full vaccination required. Masks to be worn at all times.Tickets information: child 3 - 13 years of age and family is 2 adults and up to 3 children.
