Vancouver Food Runners (VFR) is a local charity that rescues surplus good food and delivers it to community organizations. With a quick sign-up and our easy app, volunteers pick up donations from food businesses and bring them to nonprofits, helping reduce waste and support neighbours across Surrey and beyond.Join us for a fun and informative in-person session in Surrey, where you’ll meet the VFR team, connect with other volunteers, and learn how food rescue supports Surrey nonprofits and community programs. We’re building a stronger network in Surrey and we’d love for you to be part of it.Whether you’re brand new or just getting started, this session will show you how VFR rescues work and get you ready for local routes. Come with questions and leave with practical tips!
