Mental health. It wasn’t a class at school. So where can Nova Scotians go to learn about mental health and well-being? The answer is “THRIVE.”

Grief is a natural response to loss, but it can be difficult to navigate and often feels overwhelming. Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a life change, or another transition, grief touches us all in different ways.Join this workshop to explore what grief is, learn practical coping strategies, and discover how to support others through loss.Together, we’ll create a compassionate space for reflection, helping you build resilience, deepen compassion, and find healthier ways to process grief while supporting your mental health and well-being.DETAILS:<ul><li>TIME: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. | DURATION: One hour</li><li>VENUE: Online [ZOOM]</li><li>DATE: November 6, 2025</li></ul>Facilitator Bio - Paige Savard is a recent Master of Public Health graduate working as a Health Promoter. She has experience leading a variety of health initiatives, including coordinating vaccine clinics to organizing physical activity programs for youth. Passionate about holistic health, building resilience, and fostering motivation, Paige uses her public health knowledge to empower individuals and communities to take control of their health and well-being. With a background in Kinesiology, she values the positive connection between physical activity, mental well-being, and quality time spent with friends and family.About THRIVEMental health.
