This workshop is a two part class devoted to your self care. You will learn breath work to deepen your body connection and work through stress (and have essential oils paired with this practice). Secondly, you will be taken through a Yoga Nidra practice. Although you may come to yoga to stretch and strengthen your body, practices such as Yoga Nidra are inherently restorative. The healing benefits of Yoga Nidra are mind-blowing― it has been said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is the equivalent of four hours of deep sleep. As you know, deep sleep allows the body to heal and regenerate.Cat began her yoga practice as a student in 2002 and expanded her practice as a teacher in 2016. Since her first training Cat has gone on to complete more than 800 hours of certification in yoga, mindfulness, and breathwork. She shares yoga in a lighthearted style focused on breath, body, and present moment awareness. Cat truly feels blessed to share her passion each and every day and to have the opportunity to help others achieve a safe space to discover their own physical bodies, as well as a deeper connection to themselves and to the greater community around them.When not on her mat, you'll find Cat with her family, listening to music, at the cottage, out in the woods hiking, running, camping, or just being barefoot and fancy free!
