Learn tips and tricks for single use plastic reduction, and how to be more aware of what happens with our waste in our community and beyond.

Join us for an updated version of the Living Better On Less program, now offered in-person on a bi-weekly basis in November and December of 2021, and in an online format during January and February of 2022. People of all income levels with diverse needs are welcome to attend this program. The fall session of Living Better On Less by The Guelph Tool Library will be offered a-la carte. Please pre-register for each program you would like to attend. Class sizes are limited, and early registration is recommended. Participants will be provided with printed and .PDF worksheets each class. Supplies for all hands-on components to workshops will be included. About LBOL: This program was developed at St. James the Apostle Church in 2009 as a way to provide guidance to living within a fixed income. It soon became evident that living within a tight budget also had an impact on one's environmental footprint. This program has now been published for individual use as many want and need the information but are unable to attend an 8 week course. COVID-19 Policies - As per provincial and local guidelines, proof of vaccination is required, and masks are to be properly worn at all times. Vaccination status can be presented via the Verify Ontario App, a PDF printout, or displayed on your phone. Accompanying photo ID is required. Class size is limited to 8 people. All participants will be asked to self-screen for symptoms prior to attending each course, and will be required to submit contact tracing information. High touch points and shared surfaces are sanitized before and after each session. Physical distancing is to be maintained at all times. Participants from the same household may be seated together.
