This special event highlights the power of generosity, collaboration, and reciprocity in advancing women’s equality and empowerment. We are excited to welcome three distinguished speakers who will share how giving through knowledge, support, advocacy, initiatives and mentorship has helped them create more inclusive communities. Don’t miss this opportunity to be inspired, build meaningful connections, and celebrate the impact of women supporting women all while enjoying refreshments! Our guest speakers:<ul><li>Connie Woodside - With over 30 years of visionary leadership, Connie Woodside, President &amp; CEO of JA New Brunswick, has transformed a modest organization into a powerful catalyst for youth empowerment and community development. Connie’s unwavering dedication, strategic insight, and tireless advocacy for Junior Achievement New Brunswick has built a legacy that continues to shape the future of business leadership in New Brunswick. Her impact is most profoundly felt in the lives of the thousands of young people she has mentored and inspired, igniting ambition, fostering resilience and opening doors to opportunity. She has left a lasting footprint of mentorship that has inspired leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs to believe that success starts here in New Brunswick. Connie’s commitment to excellence and her passion for nurturing the next generation of leaders make her a true force to be reckoned with.</li><li>Sasigala Subramaniam - Sasigala, known as Sasie, is a passionate Talent Development professional with experience across the Business, IT, and Banking sectors. Sasie is from Malaysia and she recently moved to Fredericton in early March 2025, she brings a global perspective to learning, leadership, and community building. Deeply committed to people development, Sasie focuses on empowering women to lead with confidence and purpose. She is an advocate for creating inclusive communities where women can grow, connect, and shape meaningful change. A natural storyteller with a love for public speaking, she inspires audiences with her energy, authenticity, and dedication to helping others realize their potential. Guided by her personal philosophy, “Make your passion your paycheck,” Sasie encourages others to pursue meaningful work and live with intention.</li><li>Dawn Crawford - Born and raised in New Brunswick by a single mother, she learned early the value of resilience, sacrifice, and hard work. These lessons shaped her determination to build a more stable future when she became a single mother herself in her late 20s. She has spent over 25 years building her career in the financial industry and now serves as a Branch Manager with RBC, balancing work, education, and multiple roles along the way. Her journey includes recognition for leadership, volunteerism, and professional achievement, including an Employee Choice award earned through team nomination. Her greatest pride is her daughter, now a registered nurse and homeowner at 24. Her story reflects a commitment to breaking cycles of struggle and building a legacy of strength, resilience, and opportunity for the next generation.</li></ul>
