This NSELCF modules offers an overview of the framework’s early learning principles and practices.

3.5 PL hoursTuesday February 24 &amp; Thursday February 26, 2026.This is a 2 evening online session, you must attend both in order to receive a certificate.Module 3: Connecting Early Learning Principles and PracticesBuilding on Module 2: Pedagogical Leadership, this module provides an overview of the five early learning principles and six educator practices in the NSELCF. Participants will explore how these components relate to one another and begin identifying where they show up in their own programs. This session is designed to help educators become more familiar with and confident in using the language and structure of the framework. Participants will:<ul><li>Describe the five principles of early learning and how they relate to the role of the educator.</li><li>Identify the six key practices and how they support learning and development in early learning environments.</li><li>Recognize the interconnectiveness between principles and practices, and their role in curriculum planning.</li><li>Differentiate between principles and practices when reflecting on or planning for program environments.</li></ul>Continue developing familiarity with the NSELCF and Educator’s Guide, as foundational tools for guiding reflective and intentional practice.Tuesday February 24 &amp; Thursday February 26, 20266:30 PM to 8:15 PM both dates For more information contact Melissa Dulong: melissa.dulong@nscc.ca
