The road towards the International ERPsim Final!
Get ready to take part in this exhilarating regional ERPsim competition and aim for the sought-after top three positions. The three winning teams of each regional ERPsim competition get awarded with the unique opportunity to participate in this contest where the most exceptional teams from around the world will converge to compete for the prestigious title.
The Game
Teams will play the ERPsim Manufacturing Sustainability Game. Students will apply their business knowledge to make strategic decisions about their virtual company and input their plans to SAP S/4HANA using SAP Fiori. The ERPsim platform will simulate business activity based on these decisions.The virtual company with the highest company valuation at the end of the 4-round game is the winner.
Who can register?
Your university must be member of SAP University Alliances at the time of the competition and be located in the United States or Canada to participate.
University-level eligibility for ERPsim academic competitions is contingent upon the integration of both the ERPsim game and Business Builders into the institution's teaching curriculum. Participation is granted to the university provided that at least one meaningful pedagogical activity—whether in-class or extracurricular—utilizes both platforms.
Teams are encouraged to have experience with SAP S/4 HANA and ERPsim prior to event - no training is provided on the day of the event. An information and practice session will be offered one week prior to the event.
Each university may register one team of 3 to 5 students and one or two faculty coaches. The main coach is responsible to register the team. We will communicate with the team through the main coach. Diverse teams are encouraged.
Rules
- Participation is FREE. Registration will close when team registrations are at capacity.
- The event is offered in a virtual format.
- The main coach is the point of contact for all event logistics and communications.
- Students names and university email addresses are provided prior to the event.
- The teams will play 4 rounds of the ERPsim Manufacturing Sustainability Game.
- Each round will be of 20 virtual days of 1 minute each.
- Teams will be ranked based on their company valuation.
- No cheating is allowed! All teams must always behave ethically. The organizers reserve the rights to disqualify teams who are not playing fairly.
Prizes
- Digital badges for the top 3 teams, the coaches, and the registered participants.
- The top 3 teams qualify for the International ERPsim Final.
