Afternoon of Service - Valentine's "Minute to Win It"

The Experiential Education Department at UPEI helps students build bridges between their university learning and the world of work. Our office offers numerous free workshops and events to help UPEI students develop a range of personal and professional skills. We also support students through coordinating experiential learning opportunities, enabling students to apply what they are learning in the classroom in real world contexts while expanding their growth.

The Mount Continuing Care Community

The Mount Continuing Care Community provides a warm and welcoming home for local seniors, and we invite you to be part of the fun!Join us for an Afternoon of Service inspired by the hit show Minute to Win It. Students and residents will team up to tackle Valentine's themed, fast-paced challenges with just 60 seconds on the clock. It’s a fantastic way to give back, make connections, and share a lot of laughs!The Mount is located very close to UPEI at 141 Mount Edward Road. There is a trail that connects the UPEI Campus and the Mount. For this event, we will meet on campus and walk as a group to the Mount. All participants are asked to meet at the Career Studio, room 209 Dalton Hall on campus, at 1:10 p.m.This event is free, and The Mount will provide all the necessary supplies.Don’t miss out on this fun and meaningful event!Register by Thursday, February 12th at noon.If you have any questions, please contact Community and Industry Outreach Coordinator, Jess Cameron at jecameron@upei.ca
