Women of all ages are warmly invited for a day of friendship and spiritual nourishment!

Facilitator: The Rev. Dr. Anna Robbins

Fee: $55

Continental breakfast, refreshments and hot lunch provided.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Anna Robbins as our Women’s Retreat facilitator this year. Anna is familiar to us at Yorkminster Park as well as within our wider Baptist community as she has preached at our church, was a keynote speaker at the Lester Randall Preaching Fellowship in 2017 and has also been the plenary speaker at a Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec annual Assembly. Anna comes to us as the President of Acadia Divinity College and Dean of Theology of Acadia University in Nova Scotia. She holds the Dr. Millard R. Cherry Chair of Theology, Ethics and Culture, is on the Board of Directors of the Association of Theological Schools and has served as Director of the Andrew MacRae Centre for Faith and Culture for which she regularly blogs. Anna writes, travels and speaks widely with a passion for helping Christians understand and communicate their faith in our contemporary context. She lives in Wolfville with her husband, Peter and teenage son, David.

All women are warmly invited to this day apart to enjoy a time of spiritual encouragement and fellowship. Refreshments and a full hot lunch will be served with vegan and gluten free options. We are pleased that Bernice Quek from the READ ON Bookstore will once again be available to offer a selection of books for purchase.
