This interactive webinar workshop will explore the philosophy, principles and theory behind Appreciative Inquiry, a strengths-based Organizational Design (OD) change philosophy and approach, along with the specific techniques and operational steps that are used to bring about highly creative positive change in a system.Learn how to use it to create focus and collective mindset with your improvement teams and how others have used it as a strength-based alternative to traditional problem-solving methodologies, including where the presenter had applied its philosophy and tools within a hospital environment and a government ministry-wide organizational change.We’ll also have online activities representing the “Discovery” and “Dream” steps of Appreciative Inquiry that helps to build collective, positive mindset. Besides being a recognized Fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), he is also the Programs Chair for the Ottawa Valley Chapter and a member of the National Board of Directors for the Canadian Public Sector Excellence Network (CPSEN), an organization established to promote quality and excellence in the workplace at the federal, provincial/territorial and municipal levels. In addition, he is Founder and CEO of HUMAN, a training and consulting firm concentrating on the disciplines of quality management and organizational excellence.
