Vocalist Joanna Majoko and guitarist Andrew Marzotto come together for a compelling performance that blends tradition with modern influence.

Singer, composer, and bandleader Joanna Majoko is one of Canada’s most exciting young vocalists. Born to German and Zimbabwean parents and raised in Zimbabwe, she brings a rich global perspective to her music, moving fluidly between jazz, neo-soul, and world rhythms. Together, Marzotto and Majoko have developed a signature duo sound that weaves jazz standards with soul, hip hop, and multilingual storytelling, creating intimate, expressive performances for audiences of all sizes.

Toronto-based Marzotto has been playing guitar since age nine and discovered jazz in high school before earning a full-scholarship degree from Berklee College of Music. Now an in-demand performer and session guitarist, he is known for his lyrical, pianistic approach to the instrument and his thoughtful reinterpretations of the American Songbook, drawing inspiration from jazz, bossa nova, classical, R&B, and beyond.
