During her travels, Naomi performed in a library in Japan, where she discovered kamishibai—a traditional Japanese storytelling form using illustrated cards in a small wooden frame, brought to life through voice and movement. Once a beloved form of street storytelling, kamishibai blends bold imagery with gentle theatricality and is engaging for audiences of all ages.
