What does "drop-in" mean?

Drop-in means that from 1-4PM, you can come by to work on your project and leave at anytime! There is no required registration, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

No, please just bring yourself! We will focus on how to weave on cardboard during this event. If you want to mend your own clothing, like a shirt or sock with a hole, please bring that garment to work on.

What is weaving?

Accepted Answer

Weaving is a traditional knowledge and practice that makes up the fabric of our lives! You can see examples of it in your woven clothes like shirts, in baskets and blankets. Traditionally made on a loom, one thread is the "warp" (vertical yarn) and the other is the "weft" (woven into the warp).
