Virtual webinar for School Perseverance Week & Black History Month

As part of Academic Hooked On School Week and Black History Month, the LMS Foundation is presenting a major virtual workshop on February 21st entitled: Attitude of Perseverance & Altitude in STEM
Students and adults will discover the most effective principles and strategies of perseverance to achieve their goals. Furthermore, a spotlight will be shone on the excellence of the work and inventions stemming from people of African descent in the STEM sphere. The public will discover how these contributions, both historical and contemporary, have shaped and continue to transform our society.

From this perspective, the Honourable Marjorie Michel, Canada’s Minister of Health, is our guest of honour and collaborator on this project. An inspiring portrait of her journey, successes, and achievements will be presented to the public. This unique and impactful workshop will undoubtedly awaken potential, build confidence, broaden career prospects, and inspire the next generation of diverse leaders.
