No. This workshop is created for adult children and caregivers. Many attendees choose to participate on their own first and then share key insights or tools with their parents later. I would recommend inviting your parents as I can introduce these tough conversations for families who are hesitant.

No prior knowledge is required. Concepts are explained clearly and in everyday language. This series is designed to be accessible, supportive, and practical.

Yes. In fact, this series is most helpful before a crisis. Planning early reduces stress, family conflict, and rushed decision-making when health or aging issues arise unexpectedly. I use the example - if your house was burning down, would want a fire extinguisher ready?

I am not a lawyer and will not be providing any legal advice. I always recommend people talk to a legal professional. However, as a nurse, I have worked with many people who suddenly find themselves in the POA role. I will be educating what this role entails from the nursing and care lens.
