This Valentine's week, treat yourself to a nourishing self-love journey of breath and sound.This New Moon — paired with the Chinese Lunar New Year — is a potent moment for intention setting and planting the seeds for the year ahead.The Chinese believe how we begin this cycle sets the tone for the rest of the year, so by laying a foundation of self-love, you are setting the ground for healthy relationships and aligned actions.You will be gently guided into a soothing self-love breathwork practice that nourishes the mind, body and soul. This is a rhythmic style of breathwork that is safe, accessible, and easy to follow.While still in the afterglow of the breathwork, you will be bathed in the luscious vibrations of the crystal singing bowls to help you unwind, soften and reset your nervous system.This is perfect for you if you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or need more calm and clarity in life.Crystal bowls produce rich, resonant tones that help guide the brain into alpha and theta states — the realms of deep relaxation, intuition and healing. These states are especially supportive for manifestation, healing and inner guidance.The bowls are tuned to 432Hz, often referred to as the heart or natural frequency. You are welcome to stay later if you would like to continue to mingle and integrate. This is also a great way to expand your community.Please bring a healthy snack to share.Wear comfortable clothes. We have some yoga mats and blankets available. You are welcome to bring your own.Alchemy Studio is a private studio in a magical East Van home.
