CPA Information Session

The Experiential Education Department at UPEI helps students build bridges between their university learning and the world of work. Our office offers numerous free workshops and events to help UPEI students develop a range of personal and professional skills. We also support students through coordinating experiential learning opportunities, enabling students to apply what they are learning in the classroom in real world contexts while expanding their growth.

Virtual information session for UPEI students to learn about the pathway to becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant

As a CPA, you can work in any sector, anywhere in the world, and at any level of the organization you can imagine. CPAs offer a strong set of accounting and managerial skills required for today’s complex and evolving environment. These professional accountants are highly attractive to employers and recruiters for the solid training and expertise that contribute to improved efficiency and growth. Join our information session to learn about your pathway to this professional designation that will offer endless career opportunities after graduation.This information session is for University of Prince Edward Island students only. This event is offered by the CPA Atlantic School of Business in partnership with UPEI Career Services as part of <a href="https://www.upei.ca/exed/students/career-month" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Career Month</a>. The virtual meeting link will be emailed to all registrants on the morning of the event. There has been a recent issue with event registrants not attending sessions, which impacts the organizers and the other people who have registered. If you sign up and then can&#x27;t attend, please cancel your ticket in Eventbrite or email us at experientialed@upei.ca to cancel.
