How and Why to Grow a Grassland Set-Aside

The BC Climate Agri-Solutions Fund (CAF) provides funding to help farmers tackle climate change by adopting beneficial managing practices (BMPs) in three specific areas: Nitrogen Management, Cover Cropping and Rotational Grazing. CAF is funded by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the On-Farm Climate Action Fund and delivered by the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC.

This farmer-focused webinar will introduce the Grassland Set-aside program with support from Delta Farmland and Wildlife Trust (DFWT) staff and local farmers.Hear first-hand from potato farmer Bill Zylmans and potato &amp; blueberry farmer Jack Bates about their experience with this practice. We'll share practical information like reccomendations for seed mixes and successful establishment.This webinar is funded by the Climate Agri-Solutions Fund.
