On Friday, March 13th 2026, the Coast Cultural Alliance in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Arts Council presents the 24th season of the Artesia Coffee House

On Friday, March 13th, the Artesia Coffee House at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt promises an evening showcasing a vibrant and eclectic lineup of performers, including several artists making their debut on our welcoming coffee house stage.

Continuing our commitment to nurturing and celebrating local emerging talent, the night will open with ‘BVA,’ a trio from Chatelech Secondary. Featuring Blake Gatzke on guitar, Vincent Martin on drums, and Arden MacNeil on bass, the group will deliver an energetic set of cover tunes. Next up is singer-songwriter, wordsmith, artisan, and philosopher Robin Atchison, sharing original songs that thoughtfully explore people and their place in the world.

After the intermission, Olympian, coach, and local author Betty Baxter will introduce her newly released book, Outspoken – A Journey from Olympic Athlete to Activist, fresh off the press. Wrapping up the evening, beloved Sunshine Coast vocalist Trudi Diening will take the stage with her new trio, joined by guitarist Steve Karagianis and bassist Jay Baird, who is new to the Coast music scene.

Doors open at 6:45 pm, and the show begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance online through Eventbrite or in person at the Sunshine Coast Arts Centre during public gallery hours (Wednesday to Sunday, 12–4 pm, 5714 Medusa Street, Sechelt).

Delicious treats and beverages will be available throughout the evening, with donations gratefully accepted.

The Artesia Coffee House is presented by the Coast Cultural Alliance in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Arts Council.

We look forward to welcoming you for a memorable night of live music, storytelling, and community connection.
