This afternoon educational forum features keynote speaker, Addiction Psychiatrist, Dr. Ian King.

Dr. Ian King, BMsc, MD, FRCPSC, DRCPSC (Addiction Medicine) is a psychiatrist who completed his medical degree and psychiatric residency at the University of Alberta, while concurrently completing a Royal College–accredited Fellowship in Addiction Medicine. Dr. King is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia and is involved in medical education and mentorship. In his clinical work, he draws on EMDR, psychodynamic, and existential psychotherapy approaches where helpful.
