Helen has been teaching yoga since 2013 and loves create a warm and welcoming environment for all of her students. Having first found yoga at a difficult time in her life, Helen quickly realized that the benfits of this practice go far beyond the physical. She loves being a teacher and is so excited to share this beautiful practice with anyone who wants to pull up a mat.

These fat positive yoga classes are for people who live in bigger bodies and want to explore yoga that is created with you and your body in mind. These classes also invite you to have a deeper and stronger relationship with your body, exactly as it is.

FAT+HAPPY YIN YOGA: This six week beginner friendly online fat positive yoga series focuses on the joy of taking up space. When you live in a big body, you spend so much time being told to shrink and Yin Yoga is the antidote! A practice for deep stretching and release, most poses take place in a seated or reclined position and we hold for a longer period of time. If flexibility is what you're looking for, this is the class for you! Class includes:<ul><li>a five minute theme discussion</li><li>70 minute practice, including an opening and closing meditation</li><li>modifications for folks in larger bodies</li><li>space for questions after class</li><li>a follow up email with journaling prompts</li><li>a class recording, available for one week</li></ul> Whether you identify as fat, full bodied, plus-sized or big bodied, please know that you deserve to find joy and freedom in movement and to feel good in your amazing body. Behold, the Fat+Happy Book Club!
