WorkBC Job Fair Preparation Workshop with Neil Squire

WorkBC offers a range of services which support job seekers in getting – and keeping – a job as quickly as possible. We can help if you are having difficulty finding work or ongoing employment. We will build up your skills and confidence through services tailored to your particular situation.We operate the Vancouver Northeast, Delta, Ladner, South Surrey – White Rock and Surrey Cloverdale centres providing services to all British Columbians and specializing in working with new Canadians.We are a partner in the Fraser Works Co-operative operating in Burnaby and New Westminster.We provide employment services in WorkBC centres across the Lower Mainland, including specialized services in first language(s) for new Canadians in the South Vancouver, Burnaby and Fraser North East communities.

<h3>This virtual workshop, hosted in partnership with <a href="https://www.neilsquire.ca/" title="https://www.neilsquire.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Neil Squire</a> is customized for<strong><strong> People with Disabilities</strong></strong>, where you will gain expert guidance on how to navigate job fairs and ensure you receive the support and accessibility needed to succeed.</h3><p>You will:</p><ul><li>Learn how to advocate for yourself effectively</li><li>Explore how to confidently share your strengths and discuss workplace accessibility needs with employers</li><li>Gain exclusive insights from a recruiter’s perspective</li></ul>

<h4><a href="https://www.neilsquire.ca/" title="https://www.neilsquire.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Neil Squire</a> has been revolutionizing the lives of Canadians with disabilities since 1984 through accessible assistive technology.</h4><p>Through their many programs that are run by professionals and that have a holistic, self-paced approach, their work is focused on four distinct areas: Innovation, Digital Literacy, Employment, and Assistive Technology. Their efforts have enabled people with disabilities to achieve their goals, reach their full potential, and continue living life to the fullest. With their 40+ years of experience you can rest assured you'll be in good hands!</p><p>This workshop will be faciliated by <strong><strong>Nate Toevs, Marketing Manager</strong></strong> at Neil Squire.</p>
