Beaver Creek Birding and Hiking Tour
See chickadees, woodpeckers, warblers and other summer songbirds.
Beaver Creek is an attractive wooded valley with several walking trails. Here this creek flows into the South Saskatchewan River. An indoor interpretive centre on site has displays and washrooms with running water.
During guided Beaver Creek birding tours, we usually select the trail with the best variety of songbirds. These hiking trails are relatively flat with stairs provided in the steeper portions. Over 60 species have been found during our Beaver Creek tours.
Participants must provide their own transportation to Beaver Creek.
Novice and experienced bird watchers are especially welcome.
A loaner pair of binoculars may be available if requested.
Fee covers leadership only. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included in the fee.
