Course DescriptionThis course provides existing, new, and aspiring investigators with information on how to write an effective investigation report for employee misconduct.Writing an investigation report concerning allegations of employee misconduct is the final step in any investigation process, and the goal of any report should be to support the credibility of the investigation process and any disciplinary decision that is made by management.By the end of this session, you should be able to:<ul><li>Explain why investigation reports are important</li><li>Demonstrate how they can support discipline</li><li>Identify what to include and not include in an investigation report</li><li>Compose reports that are privacy appropriate</li></ul>QuestionsIf you have any questions, please contact Donna Verones at 604 374 1138 or donnav@bcpsea.bc.ca
