Historical Life Drawing at the Bytown Museum | Esquisses historiques au Musée Bytown
Join us at the Bytown Museum on Thursday, May 28th for a special edition of Sketchy Thursdays!
Start the evening with an exclusive after hours tour of the Bytown Museum, from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Led by a knowledgeable guide, this tour will include a visit to the Bytown’s recently unveiled special exhibition: What's in a Frame? 200+ Years of Community Portraits.
Then, get creative from 6:30 PM – 8 PM with a ‘historical life drawing’ edition of Sketchy Thursdays. During this plein air session, an OAG educator will guide participants through a series of timed sketches of a live model wearing historical costumes from the Bytown Museum’s collections.

Soyez des nôtres au Musée Bytown le jeudi 28 mai pour une édition spéciale de Jeudis croquis !
Commencez la soirée avec une visite commentée du Musée Bytown, de 17 h 30 à 18 h 30.
Lors de cette visite, vous aurez l’occasion de découvrir l’exposition Un cadre, mille histoires : plus de 200 ans de visages, d’histoires et de communauté, récemment inaugurée.
Ensuite, laissez libre cours à votre créativité lors d’une session Jeudi croquis de 18 h 30 à 20 h. Au cours de cet atelier plein air, un membre de l’équipe éducation de la GAO vous guidera à travers une série de croquis chronométrés d'un modèle vivant portant des costumes historiques provenant des collections du Musée Bytown.
