Overview
PAL is a mandatory firearms licence for Canadians aged 18 and older, required to legally own, buy, or possess firearms and aquire ammunition
Acquire a copy of the course manual, either pdf or hard copy format. You can download a pdf version by searching "Canadian Firearm Safety Course Manual" and click on the link in the RCMP website. Bring photo ID to the course. At the end of the day after successfully completing the exam you will have everything you need to apply for the PAL minus the photo , PAL app fee and stamp. There will be a few small breaks and one lunch break through out the day. Some snacks and refreshments will be provided.
