Inspiring Nature Activities for Families

Join award-winning educator and author Jacob Rodenburg at KLT's Dance Nature Sanctuary for an immersive, hands-on experience designed to help children and adults deepen their love for the natural world. Drawing on more than 35 years of outdoor teaching, Jacob will share engaging, field-tested activities that spark curiosity, wonder, and connection.

Learn to follow scent trails like a fox, dance like honeybees, sing like frogs, create micro-trails, and make simple art from found, natural materials. Blending science, storytelling, sensory awareness, and playful exploration, this workshop offers practical, joyful tools to help families build meaningful relationships with nature, wherever they explore outdoors.

Young Explorers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Thank you to Cambium Consulting and Engineering and to Juniper Community Bookkeeping for supporting KLT's 2026-2027 Passport to Nature program.
