Tallgrass & Wildflower Seed Harvest at KLT's Ballyduff Trails
Caring for Endangered ecosystems starts with you. Rare grassland ecosystems like tallgrass prairie and savannah are among the rarest ecosystems in Ontario. And they need your help. It's estimated that only 1-3% of Ontario's prairies and savannahs remain.
You can help care for a rare tallgrass prairie by helping to collect grass and wildflower seeds at KLT's Ballyduff Trails. This event is open to all ages. Register to help restore this critical habitat and enjoy the beauty of fall on the Oak Ridges Moraine.
For those needing transportation to and from the event — there will be a bus going to and from the event, leaving from Ford Street in Peterborough. Details will be shared with registrants.
