THIS MONTH'S COMEDIANS:

Hershawn Arora (@rapsandlaughs):

Hershawn Arora is Toronto’s brightest young comic. His high-energy style, cerebral crowd work, and vulnerable material set him apart from his peers. Hershawn's work has been featured on Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Roast Battle™, CBC LOL!, Comedy Records™, and SiriusXM.

With a loyal online following that is rising in numbers, he has sold out his last twenty-one independently produced shows. A fan-favourite at all Toronto comedy clubs, Kenny Robinson's Nubian Revue, and a regular at the world-famous Your Hood's a Joke, Hershawn has been recognised as one of the most promising acts in the country and is currently embarking upon his first nationwide headline comedy tour.

Kari Johnson (@karigejohnson):

Kari Johnson is one of Toronto's most unique stand-up voices. Her work has been featured on CBC LOL! and Just For Laughs Toronto. Kari's imaginative observations centre around her racial ambiguity, mental health and anything else that might justify her otherwise useless liberal arts degree.

Habib Siam (@hdotsdot):

Habib has headlined clubs internationally, from Lebanon to France, and has performed in multiple languages. A former headliner with Canada’s biggest comedy agency, he is now touring independently.

Rather than focusing on the issues that divide us, Habib finds common ground in the experiences that are common to us all – lost loves, failed pursuits, and the many fortunate twists our life paths take if we let go just a little. He finds sanity increasingly overrated and takes joy in watching it all unravel.
