Community Creating

This is an entry level class, with no experience needed. So all I ask is that you come with an open mind and open heart, this is a judgement free zone and we are all coming together to play, get creative and have fun! All supplies will be provided.

-Please arrive anytime after 5:45 to the upper mezzanine area. You can always grab food and a drink before the class (Sidekick has delicious beer that they brew in house, local kombucha and wine as well as incredible food-my favourite is the pulled pork pizza!). You’re welcome to get food and drinks throughout the class as you wish- we are here to enjoy ourselves and not take things so seriously.

-As previously stated this is a non-wheelchair access class, I would love to make this accessible to everyone but unfortunately the mezzanine area is stair access only. (If this is ever an issue for anyone I would be happy to schedule a class in a wheelchair accessible venue).

-What are we painting>!?

This class is what ever you want it to be- do you have a photo, or illustration you’re inspired by? Bring it! I will supply florals for inspiration as well as a collection of easy-to-follow tutorials. Everyone’s creations are completely unique to them- and I love this in comparison to when we all try to create the same thing. My process focuses less on the end result and expectation and more on the process of exploring and playing with a new medium.
