PEO Lambton Chapter June 2026 Technical Seminar

The PEO Lambton Chapter and the Sarnia-Lambton Research Park are pleased to announce the offering of a technical seminar scheduled to take place June 23, 2026 at the Sarnia-Lambton Research Park, 1086 Modeland Rd.

With a joint venture with the Research Park, we are able to offer an in depth, dissertation quality presentation. This hour long technical presentation’s intent is to provide CPD type credits to assist in your PEAK technical continuing education.

As part of the technical seminar, a networking session following the seminar will take place. This will give attendees a chance to talk to the Presenter and to network with our fellow P. Engs.

Kalpen Vachharaani, President of Provincial Controls, will look at the management of risk when applying instrumentation and controls to process production applications to maintain safety to the process, environment, and personnel/public. This presentation can benefit engineers, designers, maintenance workers, supervisors, and management personnel.

The most critical challenge may be the cost to benefit ratio and trying not to scrimp on design due to cost and safety.

The technical seminar will take place in Boardroom B1/B2 at the Sarnia-Lambton Research Park. Starting time is 7:00pm. Additional information is available when you register on Eventbrite. The seminar is scheduled to last about one hour including Q&A. Have your questions ready.

Please arrive about 6:45pm as the doors will be locked after 7:15pm.

Entrance to the Research Park is at the flagpole location. Once inside the lobby, arrows and signage will guide you to the B1/B2 Conference Rooms. Parking is available east of the Research Park with a short walk to the Main Lobby Entrance.
