Itamar Erez is a Vancouver-based composer, pianist, and guitarist whose work blends jazz, Middle Eastern influences, and contemporary composition.
Itamar performs regularly as a solo artist as well as with his trio and quartet, and his projects have been presented regularly at jazz festivals, concert halls, and cultural events in Canada and internationally.
Recent performances include JazzAhead! (Germany), the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Bellingham Jazz Center, and Yardbird Suite (Edmonton), among many others.
Itamar will present a solo guitar performance (first time at Notional Space!) along with stories about the music and his many collaborations over the years.
