Little Brick

River Valley Sound is your chance to enjoy intimate performances by some of Edmonton's most beloved singer-songwriters, hosted in one of Edmonton's oldest homes-turned-café. Come sit by the fire, enjoy a wonderful beverage and food pairing while hearing music performed up close. The evening includes a question and answer period with the artist, where the audience has the chance to get to know the performer on a personal level. In August, Little Brick welcomes Jessica Heine, a captivating singer-songwriter whose remarkable voice, vivid storytelling, and heartfelt songwriting have made her one of Alberta's most compelling folk performers. Equally capable of delivering a delicate whisper or a soaring chorus, Jessica pairs poetic, emotionally resonant songs with warmth, humour, and the kind of honest stage presence that makes every performance feel deeply personal.A classically trained vocalist and longtime fixture in Alberta's folk community, Jessica's songs explore resilience, renewal, love, loss, and the quiet work of rebuilding. Her intimate performances invite audiences into the stories behind the music, creating genuine connection and an evening that lingers long after the final note.Come join us for an evening you will not soon forget!
