Prairie Song Alliance is proud to present the Prairie Song Folk Club, which makes its home at Edmonton's historic Bison Lodge. Here, we celebrate the very best of Alberta's music in a beautiful setting that will capture your heart and give you an unforgettable experience.

In June, PSFC welcomes Jay Gilday, a Yellowknife-born artist of Dene and Irish heritage whose powerful songwriting and magnetic stage presence have established him as one of Canada's most compelling contemporary roots artists. Blending Dene spirituals, Irish ballads, and folk-rock influences, Jay creates music that is deeply rooted in tradition while unmistakably his own. His acclaimed album Faster Than Light earned Western Canadian Music Award and Edmonton Music Award honours, further cementing his place as a remarkable voice in Canadian music.

Jay delivers soulful, electrifying performances that celebrate heritage, resilience, and the enduring power of song.

Warming up the stage for Jay will be David Henneberg.

David is an Edmonton-based singer-songwriter whose understated, emotionally resonant songs are shaped by quiet reflection and thoughtful storytelling. With a warm, unhurried approach, he crafts music that invites listeners into moments of honesty, connection, and contemplation.

His intimate performances create space for audiences to slow down, listen closely, and discover the quiet power found in life's ordinary moments.
