Flamencolia Dance Company is a Toronto-based flamenco arts company led by artistic director Lia Grainger. A dancer and choreographer for almost two decades, Lia spent much of the past decade training and performing in Spain, before returning to Canada to establish her dance company. Flamencolia Dance Company tours with Canada's best flamenco singers, musicians and dancers.

Flamenco dancer Lia Grainger and guitarist Matt Sellick present an intimate evening celebrating the passion and precision of flamenco music and dance.Vancouver-born Lia Grainger has devoted more than two decades to flamenco dance, training in Canada before spending six years immersed in the tradition's heartland, Seville and Madrid, Spain. A Dora Award-nominated choreographer and founder of Toronto's Flamencolía Dance Company, Lia was selected to compete at Lincoln Center's prestigious CERTAMEN USA in 2017 and now serves as co-artistic director of Toronto's F for Flamenco Festival.Joining her is Matt Sellick, a Thunder Bay native returning home to share his artistry. A celebrated flamenco guitarist and composer who tours internationally with Jesse Cook, Matt has released four acclaimed solo albums and performed as a soloist with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra and other leading ensembles.Together, these two world-class artists bring the raw emotion and technical mastery of flamenco to life in a performance that promises rhythm, passion, and virtuosity in equal measure.Don't miss this rare opportunity to experience flamenco at its finest, right here in Thunder Bay.
