Born on Treaty 6 Territory in Edmonton, Alberta, Touch182 (Randy Mark) is a Hip Hop artist deeply rooted in the cold, concrete landscapes, and wide-open prairies that shaped worldview. Known for gritty, textured beats and peculiar lyricism, Touch182 crafts music with an international reach, that never forgets where it comes from.

CHU the Producer!!!

Chu The Producer: Chu was one of the founding members of Quick Trouble in the 90s and has since transitioned from artist to producer to DJ. He has recently shifted his artistic focus to songwriting where he writes and pitch songs for TV, film, advertising and label artist placement.

Four decades of Edmonton hip hop, one stage, one night.

This isn't a showcase, it's a family reunion for a scene that's been building since a Brooklyn DJ first spun records on campus radio in 1980.

Nine of the city's rising voices hit the mic: Jayme Minor (YYC temporary Import 😎), Trip the Rabbit, 587 Jasper, K, BYE, Margui d la mas Peluché, R-NINE, D-NiAL, and Jimmy "Carbon", hosted by MC Jordan Morgan.

That's the current generation. Here's the twist: we've invited THREE Edmonton's actual hip hop pioneers, the artists who built this scene before it had a name.

TOUCH182 - (Randy Mark) is a veteran hip-hop artist, producer, and local pioneer from Edmonton's Treaty 6 Territory. Known for gritty, sample-based beats and sharp, introspective lyrics, he is a fixture of the Western Canadian underground hip-hop scene and a respected West End Edmonton mentor, radio host, and visual artist.
