Where can I find the map?

Accepted Answer

Participants who register after July 30 will receive the Self-Guided Tour Map shortly after they register, while those who register on or before July 30 will receive the map by July 30.

Are there any places to park along the route?

There are a number of parking options  depending on where you choose to start including Lions Park Parking Lot, Gates Park, DeBoville Slough South Trailhead, Hyde Creek Recreation Centre, Red Bridge Parking Lot, and ƛ̓éxətəm Regional Park.

Where is the start of the route?

Accepted Answer

The three primary access points are Lions Park, and Gates Park, and DeBoville Slough trailhead, but you can start and finish at any part of the route that is most convenient for you.

How difficult is the ride?

The ride is relatively easy and flat.

Question 5

Is there an age requirement?

Accepted Answer

Minors under 19 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Question 6

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

We recommend bringing weather-appropriate clothing, a full water bottle, basic bike repair tools, a smart phone to view our map, and sunblock if its sunny.

How long is the ride?

Accepted Answer

If you choose to ride the entire 35km route without stopping, completing the tour will take approximately an hour and 45 minutes.
