Fat positive practices for your big, beautiful life!

Fat + Happy Yoga & Workshops

These fat positive yoga classes are for people who live in bigger bodies and want to explore yoga that is created with you and your body in mind. These classes also invite you to have a deeper and stronger relationship with your body, exactly as it is.

FAT+HAPPY SUNDAY YIN FLOW SERIESThis six week online fat positive yoga series explores the joy of yoga through a fat positive lens. If you've ever wanted to try a down dog, playfully balance, or simply touch your toes without feeling the need to lose weight first, this class is for you! We begin with Yin Yoga for deep stretching and then move into a gently flowing hatha practice for heat and play.Afterwards, we sit in community and share how we're feeling, ask questions, and discuss how we plan to move into the week ahead. This series challenges the notion that we cannot move joyfully in larger bodies, that movement's only focus is punishment and weight loss, and that we cannot be both fat and happy. Because we can!Connect with a fat positive community, move your body at your pace, and reimagine your relationship to yourself and the world around you. These classes are life changing! The series includes:

a weekly theme to inspire your body and mind

75 minute yoga practice

15 minute group reflections and ideas for integration over the next week

modifications for folks in larger bodies

weekly journaling prompts via email

a class recording, available for one week

Whether you identify as fat, full bodied, plus-sized or big bodied, please know that you deserve to find joy and freedom in movement and to feel good in your amazing body. Coming to a class that is designed specifically with you in mind is a great place to start!Join Helen, along with a group of wonderful people in an inviting, fat positive environment. You'll be so glad you did!! This is a fat positive class and all bodies and genders are welcome.
