Wellington County - Sustainability Stocktake - Industrial and Agricultural
This event brings together professionals to share, learn, and plan practical solutions for managing energy use and reducing footprints.
What are your peers across Wellington County already doing to manage energy use and reduce emissions? What's working, what isn't, and where can we go further together?
Wellington County, in partnership with Sustainable Waterloo Region (SWR), is hosting its first-ever Sustainability Stocktake: a collaborative half-day session where professionals from the industrial and agricultural sectors come together to share, learn, and plan practical solutions for managing energy use and reducing footprints across Wellington County.
We're ready to roll up our sleeves. We'll review sector-wide emissions, highlight local climate mitigation success stories and lessons learned, share updates on funding opportunities for energy conservation projects, and identify the next steps we can take to continue advancing local sustainability.
This event is a good fit for anyone involved in developing, planning, or implementing energy management or GHG reduction initiatives within their organization. Colleagues are welcome, just give us a heads up if you'd like to bring additional team members or send a delegate, as space is limited.
