About Brayden:
The term ‘larger than life’ gets thrown around a lot. Brayden King is one of the few people it was actually invented for. 6’9” of real deal from Weyburn, SK — now reppin’ Alberta and putting his boot print smack in the middle of country and rock n roll. Luke Bryan called him “the perfect mix between Ed Sheeran and Chris Stapleton.” High praise. Accurate praise.
He’s a touring machine. Over 100 shows a year, every stage treated like it’s the biggest one he’s ever played. In 2026 that meant opening for Jelly Roll at Outskirts Music Festival, headlining the Beer Gardens at Country Thunder Saskatchewan, and pulling off the Backyard Tour — 30 fan-hosted shows across five provinces, played in living rooms, lakefonts, and open pastures. No venues. Just people. The Country Music Alberta Fans Choice Award that same year wasn’t a surprise to anyone who’s been in one of those rooms.
His 2026 single ‘We Got Beer’ cracked the Billboard Canada Country Top 50 in two weeks, crossed 325,000 Spotify streams, and landed him the Rogers One to Watch designation and an iHeartRadio Future Star feature.
Drawing from Hardy, Nickelback, Brothers Osborne, and Koe Wetzel — the songs feel like new wheels on a muscle car with Kip Moore on the AM radio. Built to go fast. Enough slowdown to remind you your heart hits the brakes sometimes.
New music is coming. The machine is primed. 2026 is gonna be a year as big as he is. Just don’t ask him to sit in the backseat.
